On Saturday, November 6, 2010 over 48 teams will participate in the Regional Tournament. It is an all-day event held at Memorial High School.
Tournaments are the culmination of each team's accomplishments during the season. The event has an opening and closing ceremony—complete with trophies, awards, and recognition. It is a fun, exciting day packed with spectators and volunteers who celebrate learning about science, technology, and engineering.
Many volunteers plan, coordinate, and run the tournament. Contact Chris Hunt if you would like to volunteer.

Teams compete in a robot mission, complete with a pit, rules, and referees. They also present a research topic to a panel of judges.
Judges observe and interview teams throughout the day, both during and outside of specific competitions. They assess the team's technical knowledge and understanding, and the team's interaction and spirit. At the end of the day, the most remarkable teams receive trophies in recognition of their outstanding performance.
