Wisconsin Regional 2008

We are heading out to the regional in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the US Cellular Arena.    Read on to find out how we we are doing.

Wisconsin Regional, Day One... the Saga Begins...

So far so good... the BadgerBOTS have arrived.  Milwaukee is a balmy 40 ish and our pits are setup.  We aren't even building the robot... its actually ready for testing.

Today is all about practice rounds.  Atlas is our robot.  It will hit the field at 1:32 and 3:56 PM.  It is a big field with lots of action... 6 robots at a time!  Can't wait to get it into GO mode!

First Practice round down.... robot moved, found a flaw in our radio hookup that killed the robot, then went out there and knocked "big red" off of the rack.  It felt good!   Practice round two in a little while.

Practice round two... drove a little and attempted to do a lift but got rammed at the last moment.  Minor details to fix and lots of weight to move to the front of the robot so the front wheel drive becomes more effective.

That is the end of events for us today.  Tomorrow the real rounds begin.
