2005 FLL Summary

Our first ever participation in the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) experience.  Our goal was to use the FLL to promote our outreach program by engaging students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics at a younger age.  The way we looked at it, it was an easy way to get - and keep - kids involved so that when they rose to the high school level they would already be great participants and recruiters for the BadgerBOTS program.

We had a blast, but boy did we miss the mark by a mile with the "easy" part.

1 team earned the regional Judge's Award and went on to the State Championship.

But we learned a ton!   And had lots of fun along the way.
