SCRIP Fundraising Program

The BadgerBOTS Robotics program is raising money by you buying everyday items such as gas, food and clothing. You do this at the same places you already shop.  Whether buying our Scrip gift cards for gas and groceries or much more, you help our program raise money.

The Program:

BadgerBOTS is participating in the Simplified Scrip Gift Card program.  When you buy gift cards from the customized order form at this link, a percentage of that gift card is given back to our school.  (Amounts will vary, see the %’s on the form).  You can buy cards for your own personal use or for use as gifts for birthdays, holidays, thank you gifts, etc.  Your neighbors, friends and family can purchase cards if they wish as well.   (We only have the Wisconsin Scrip form available here... see www.schooltimesnet.com for more states, just enter BadgerBOTS and Madison, WI on the form for the school organization)

How much money can be earned?

A family might normally buy $300 +/- worth of groceries from Woodman’s each month.  If that family were to buy $300 worth of Woodman’s gift cards through this program to buy those groceries, $9.00 would automatically be donated to the BadgerBOTS program at the 3% donation rate.  If 100 families did this each month, BadgerBOTS would raise $900 per month.  Over the course of a year we would earn $10,800.  That is great money for shopping at a place you already shop! Imagine the possibilities if families did this with gas stations (cards can be used at the pump!), restaurants, clothing stores, etc.   This is year round fund-raising through products you already purchase.

How does it work:

Just choose which gift cards you would like to buy from the customized order form at this link.  Make out a check for the amount of all the gift cards you are buying and add $0.78 (78 cents) for shipping (one shipping fee total, not per card).  Place the check and order form in an envelope, mail it, and in about 7 days, give or take a few days, the gift cards will arrive in your mailbox.  With each order you receive a receipt telling what you purchased, the donation that went to BadgerBOTS and another order form and pre-paid envelope.  Please write in BadgerBOTS and Madison, WI on the form for the school organization or use the order forms that can be downloaded here. PLEASE do not refill your cards at the stores (we do not benefit!), just throw away the empties and order new cards with an order form identifying BadgerBOTS as the organization.  As you purchase gift cards each month, you can see the cumulative donations to on www.schooltimesnet.com .  All names and addresses in the School Times data base are kept confidential and will not be sold to anyone else.
