Guided Coding Activities with Scratch and Google for Education CS First

Who can code?

  • All ages! But best for ages 7 and older
  • Lessons are self-guided, short videos

What you need to get started:

  • Internet connection
  • Device with 7 inch or bigger screen
  • Sound capability

Why Code with Google and Scratch?

  • Each topic has Eight Activities, 45-90 minutes in length
  • Step-by-Step video guides
  • “Add-On” choices in each Activity for further project customization and exploration!

How to Join the BadgerBOTS Class:

  1. Go to
  2. Click “Sign in” in the top right
  3. Click “I am a student
  4. Click “Enter class code
  5. Enter the BadgerBOTS class code fw3mp8
  6. From here, students can create a CS First account or use an existing one.

  • Done some coding in Scratch before
  • Wants to try coding new types of Scratch projects
