Lead Education Coordinator

BadgerBots’ vision is to help create a world where every kid discovers a love for STEM—and knows they can pursue a future in it.  We do this by guiding them on their journey from their first awareness of STEM, growing excitement as they solve challenges and, hopefully, building a lifelong passion that could turn into a career.

  • Hire, train and lead teams of teenagers and young adults to support the summer camp season

  • Coordinate with marketing resources to create a promotional plan for the programs

  • Work with BadgerBots leadership to develop an annual spending plan for camps, including technology, materials and snacks/consumables

  • Serve as point of contact for the organization with parents of participants

  • Coordinate our registration processes through our online tool

Key Qualifications:

  • Desire to work in a small, growing non-profit organization

  • Experience in communicating effectively to different audiences, from kids to parents

  • Confidence working directly with volunteer leadership

  • Experience leading teenagers and young adults

  • 3+ years of instructing grade school and middle school kids in technology and programming

  • Knowledge of FIRST robotics programs is strongly preferred
