What We Offer

Our roots? They’re in robotics. But we’re equally passionate about sharing hands-on learning experiences in other STEM areas. We’re proud to offer a wide variety of ways to learn—so no matter what your kid needs, you can find it here.

Community Engagement

Our community engagement program expands our mission across Madison. At local events and community centers, we show off what STEM can do using creative, culturally relevant activities.

Educational Programs

Camps
Winter break, spring break, and summer vacation can still offer great learning opportunities. We follow local school district schedules and offer half-or-all-day, week-long camps during these breaks. For ages 9–12. (Plus junior summer camp for ages 7–9.)

Weeknight Classes
Our multi-week evening classes give kids a project-focused environment where they can steadily build their skills, whether they’re beginners or more advanced. For ages 8–12.

Weekend Workshops
Our one-night-only Friday or Saturday workshops give kids a chance to dive deep into a single topic. For ages 9–14 (with occasional options for ages 7–9.)

Robotics Teams

FIRST Robotics Competition
We provide work space and mentors for one FRC team. Team 1306 competes at multiple tournaments every year and frequently qualifies for international championship events. Made up of 20+ students from many local schools. For grades 9–12.

FIRST Tech Challenge
We provide a robot kit, work space, and mentors for multiple FTC teams. Each team competes several times throughout the year. For grades 7–12.

FIRST LEGO League
We serve as an operational partner for FIRST—that means we run all FIRST LEGO League tournaments in Wisconsin. In addition, we provide support for teams across the state, including coach and mentor training.

Financial Aid

We want every kid in our community to have access to our programming. That’s why we offer full or partial financial scholarships for every program, camp, course, and activity. For more information, contact director@badgerbots.org.
