Summer Camp Staff

Join us for the summer—no evenings or weekends required!

We’re looking for candidates who have experience working with kids in camp or club programs, K-12 education or any other youth mentoring role.

We’re particularly interested in capable public speakers, as well as those who can think on their feet, can adapt to their students’ learning styles and love teaching STEM topics in a really hands-on way.

Your BadgerBots summer will start with technical and general program training in the weeks leading up to camp. Summer camp officially starts on June 16 and continues through August 22. All staff will work from BadgerBots in Middleton, Wingra School in Madison and/or EAGLE School in Fitchburg.

Three shift types are possible, depending on the camp topic schedule.

  • All Day (includes 30 minute lunch break): 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

  • Mornings: 8:30 am – 1:00 pm

  • Afternoons: 11:00 am – 5:00 pm

To apply to any of the positions listed below, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter explaining why you’re interested in the position to Executive Director Mark Rushton at mrushton@badgerbots.org. Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled.
