2026-2027 School Day Off Camps

Something mysterious has happened at Badger Hollow Laboratory and we need your help to figure it out! Campers will become STEAM investigators as they explore a series of hands-on challenges, puzzles and experiments to uncover clues and solve the mystery.

Campers will:

- Complete hands-on science and engineering challenges.
- Solve puzzles and uncover clues.
- Explore creative uses of technology.
- Practice teamwork, problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Use their creativity to help unravel the mystery of Badger Hollow Laboratory.

No previous experience is needed! Just bring your curiosity, creativity and sense of adventure. Each challenge will bring campers one step closer to solving the mystery!

Campers will explore the exciting world of LEGO robotics through hands-on building, coding and problem-solving challenges! Working with LEGO robots, campers will learn how engineers and programmers use creativity, logic and teamwork to bring their ideas to life.

Younger campers will work with LEGO SPIKE Essential, while older campers will use LEGO SPIKE Prime, with activities and challenges tailored to their age and experience level.

No previous robotics experience is needed! Whether your child is brand new to robotics or already loves building with LEGO, they’ll have opportunities to build, experiment, troubleshoot and create.

Welcome to Frost Peak Research Station! Our research team needs your help solving a scientific mystery. Campers will become researchers as they investigate clues and complete a series of hands-on challenges.

Using coding, campers will create, code and experiment as they work their way through the mystery. To solve the mystery, they will use engineering and problem-solving skills to develop tools and solutions for their expedition.

Campers will:

- Get a quick introduction to the coding and other fundamentals they will need.
- Create interactive technology and digital tools.
- Complete hands-on challenges.
- Investigate clues and solve problems.
- Practice teamwork, creativity and computational thinking.

No previous coding experience is needed! Campers will work through challenges at an age-appropriate level and have plenty of opportunities to experiment and make their own creative solutions.

Join us for GIRL-BOTS, a robotics experience designed to encourage girls to explore, build, code and create! Campers will work together on hands-on robotics challenges while learning from and alongside other girl role models in STEAM.

Whether your child is brand new to robotics or already loves robots, GIRL-BOTS is a chance to build confidence, try something new and see themselves as engineers, programmers and problem-solvers.

Campers will:

- Build and program robots.
- Complete fun engineering and robotics challenges.
- Practice problem-solving and teamwork.
- Explore careers and opportunities in STEAM.
- Build confidence through hands-on learning.

No previous robotics experience is necessary!

Get ready to celebrate the New Year without staying up until midnight! Campers will become inventors, engineers and creative problem-solvers as they prepare for a one-of-a-kind Noon Year's Eve celebration.
Throughout the day, campers will complete hands-on STEAM challenges designed around creativity, innovation and a countdown to our final celebration. They’ll experiment, build, design and work together to make their ideas come to life.

Campers will:
- Take on creative engineering and STEAM challenges.
- Design and build their own inventions.
- Experiment with science and technology.
- Practice teamwork and problem-solving.
- Put their creativity to the test before the final countdown!

No previous experience is needed! Just bring your imagination and your best ideas!

Join us as we complete STEAM/engineering challenges that require BRAIN POWER rather than computer power!

Get ready for some hands-on fun!

Ever wondered what’s inside your everyday technology? In this camp, kids become real engineers as they safely take apart old gadgets and devices to uncover the hidden parts inside.

Campers will:
- Discover how different pieces of technology work.
- Learn about the parts that make machines move, light up or make sound.
- Practice teamwork, problem-solving and creative thinking.
- Explore the “science of stuff” by investigating real circuits, gears and wiring.

No experience needed. Just bring your curiosity and a sense of adventure! We’ll provide all the tools and technology to explore. Get ready to tinker, explore and unlock the secrets of technology!
